Semester-based
A structured track for high-school-age volunteers to move from general event participation into actually helping lead a planting crew or workshop station over the course of a semester.
What to expect
- Start as a general volunteer at Saturdays or Tree Planting Day events
- Shadow a crew lead or workshop presenter for at least one event
- Lead a small crew or station directly, with an adult chapter volunteer nearby
- A signed verification letter documenting hours and role, suitable for school service-hour requirements or college applications
Who it’s for
High-school-age residents (or students at a school in a chapter neighborhood) looking for sustained, documented leadership experience rather than one-off volunteer hours.
