Tree Planting Day

Seasonal, cool-weather months

A half-day, large-scale planting event where a chapter puts a season's worth of tree stock into the ground in a single coordinated push, organized into crews with assigned blocks.

What to expect

• Check-in and crew assignment at a central staging area
• Crew leads (experienced volunteers) walk each team through proper planting technique
• Tool and water stations set up along the route
• A group photo and tree count at the end of the day for the chapter's records

Who it’s for

Volunteers of all experience levels — this is usually a chapter's biggest, most visible event of the season, and a great first event for new members.
