Volunteer Program
Community Ambassador Program
Represent LVAS where decisions about neighborhood trees get made
← All ways to volunteer
Ongoing role
Community Ambassadors attend HOA board meetings and community gatherings on behalf of LVAS, answer resident questions about the chapter, and flag opportunities (or landscaping disputes) the chapter should know about.
What to expect
- A short onboarding covering LVAS's mission, chapter model, and current talking points
- Attending your own neighborhood's HOA or community meetings periodically
- Reporting back to the chapter lead on anything relevant — upcoming development, resident interest, heritage tree concerns
- Often the first step toward a Chapter Lead or Board role
Who it’s for
Volunteers with some planting-day or Saturday experience who are comfortable speaking in front of a group and want a more ongoing, visible role.
